Who I am

I'm Lukas Rüfenacht - designer, web developer and creative mind behind deluk.

For over 25 years, I have been designing websites that not only look good, but also work. I have already implemented over 300 projects - for start-ups, SMEs and brands with high standards.

My way

I learned graphic design from the ground up - classic, analog, precise. After graduating in 1995, I worked in advertising agencies and developed brand identities for consumer goods and services.

I was drawn to the digital space early on: web design, UI/UX, complex SaaS platforms. One of my projects became one of the three best-selling apps in the Atlassian Marketplace - with over 15 million users worldwide.

Today, I combine both: sound design know-how and digital expertise. I support companies, start-ups and solo freelancers - including as a UX and design specialist in the StudioAlpha accelerator.

My attitude

I think along with you, bring structure to chaos and develop solutions that work - visually, functionally and emotionally.

My clients appreciate working with me because it is direct, honest and efficient. I listen, ask the right questions and deliver well thought-out solutions - individual instead of run-of-the-mill, high-quality instead of interchangeable.

For me, good design is not an end in itself. It gets to the heart of what it's really about: personality, trust and clarity.

Where I work (and live)

I live with my son in Biel - on Lake Biel, where I grew up. When I'm not designing, I'm on the water: windsurfing is my balance and my source of inspiration.

I'm rooted here, but I work with clients all over Switzerland - and wherever good ideas arise.
